• Do you have an interesting job?

  Would you like to come and talk to our children about your job? Maybe you are a scientist, someone who helps other people, a dentist or tree surgeon. Maybe you write newspaper articles or take photos, perhaps you work in an office or on trains. The children would love to hear all about it. Come in and tell us all about it.

• Volunteers

  We would love to hear from you if you have some spare time to volunteer in our school. If you enjoy listening to children read or would like to organise outside play equipment at lunchtimes we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for adults to help out in the classrooms and outside. If you have an hour a week or more to spare, please get in touch or speak to me at the school gate. Thank you!

• Busy Busy

  My goodness we are busy at the moment!

   

  Our Forest Fridays have started with great success. We have been picking blackberries, exploring signs of Autumn on a country walk, creating nature art and pioneering. The children are enjoying learning outside the classroom and we have been very lucky with the weather so far.

   

  I am amazed at how quickly our Early Years children have settled into school life. They are already coming into the classroom ready to learn in the mornings which is wonderful to see. They are so eager to learn and find out what the day holds.

   

  Our older children have been learning Italian in Modern Foreign language lessons this term. We aim to offer a wide variety of languages as the children move through the school. These will be Italian, French, German and Spanish with 6 months spent on each language so that their love of language is nurtured and fostered ready for their time at secondary school.

   

   

• Welcome Back Everyone!

  Welcome back everyone! and how lovely to see so many new children and parents. Our Early Years children are settling in so quickly which is great.

   

  I hope everyone has had a wonderful Summer holiday. We have been very busy over the holidays organising the safe removal of our old ramp and watching the new one take shape. It looks great and it provides safe, non slip access into the classrooms.

   

  The teachers have been incredibly busy setting up new classrooms to allow for the change in our classroom organisation. Please pop in and have a quick look.

   

  Our allotment is also growing nicely with the railway sleepers now marking out the growing beds. We would really like to develop this further but really need any garden tools. If you are able to donate these please do so.
