Science: Measuring the effect of gravity

 

In our science lesson this week, we found out about the difference between weight and mass. The children used Newton meters to measure the weight of objects around the classroom, and then found their mass with scales. We discussed whether our weight and mass would stay the same if we moved around the solar system - not something we can test unfortunately!
