Wellbeing Wednesday

This week, we are focusing on 'Be active' in our 5 ways to wellbeing.

 

Have you noticed how exercise affects your mood? Maybe you feel great after running fast, or any other exercise which raises your heart rate or gets you out of breath? Do you feel more energetic for the rest of the day after you have been active? If you are able to go out and play, run or move in some other way with someone else, doesn't it make you feel happier?

 

This week, your challenge is to do some exercise, every day, which gets you out of breath and makes your heart beat faster. It would be great if were outside, but if you can't, how about putting some music on and doing some crazy dancing in your bedroom! Try and notice how you feel before, and then again afterwards - feel the difference. If you are already exercising like this every day, well done! Maybe your challenge could be to encourage someone else in your house to do the same...
