We provide pupils with opportunities to challenge themselves and represent the school at a variety of levels. These experiences help pupils to develop resilience, teamwork and ambition. 

Opportunities include: 

• Inter‑house challenges and competitions across a range of subjects and activities 
• School, local and regional competitions, including sporting events and partnership competitions in English and Science 
• Participation in regional competitions, such as the Oxford University Science competition 
• Entry into national competitions, including the Rotary COP26 poster competition, national writing competitions such as BBC 500 Words, and creative challenges run during the COVID period 

Through these experiences, pupils learn to face challenge positively, take pride in representing their school and develop aspirations for future success.
