k. Celebrating Achievement and Effort

Achievement is celebrated formally and informally across the school. Pupils are recognised for progress, commitment and success through a wide range of awards and opportunities, including:

  • Values Awards, linked to our six school values
  • Pupils and adults can nominate both children and adults, reinforcing a culture of respect, appreciation and shared responsibility
  • House point awards, with individual certificates for 25, 50, 75 and 100 house points
  • Half‑termly house winners, celebrating teamwork and contribution

Academic achievement is recognised through awards presented during Celebration Worship, including:

  • Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) awards
  • English and Reading awards, celebrating progress, effort and attainment

Children who achieve success beyond school, including sporting, creative or other external achievements, are celebrated publicly through Celebration Worship and the school newsletter, ensuring that pupils’ wider accomplishments are recognised and valued.
