- Help organise and lead special events such as Sports Day
- Meet with staff to suggest improvements to the house system
- Represent their house with confidence, positivity and teamwork
House Captains are chosen for their reliability, kindness, organisation and ability to inspire others.
Why this role matters
House Captains help build pride, belonging and community across the whole school. Their leadership strengthens teamwork, encourages positive behaviour and motivates pupils to work towards shared goals. By representing their houses, leading events and celebrating achievements, House Captains model commitment, resilience and confidence. They play a key role in ensuring inter-house events are joyful, fair and inclusive, while showing younger children what aspirational leadership looks like.
