School Council
Growing Together ~ Pupil Leadership ~ Our Collective Voice
At our school, the School Council plays a vital role in ensuring every child’s voice is heard. Elected democratically by their classmates, our councillors represent all pupils from EYFS to Year 6. They help shape school life, champion our GROWTH values, and work in partnership with staff, governors and visitors to make a real difference.
The School Council meets regularly to:
- Gather pupil views from across the school
- Work on an annual Action Plan
- Discuss ideas and improvements
- Meet school leaders, governors and external visitors
- Feed information back to their classes
- Lead on projects linked to wellbeing, learning, environment and enrichment
- Ensure British Values - especially democracy, respect and responsibility - are lived every day
Our council members are proud of the trust placed in them and take their roles seriously. They represent our school with confidence when meeting:
- The SIAMS Inspector
- The Safeguarding Audit Team
- Our School Governors
- Visitors and leaders supporting curriculum, worship, enrichment and wellbeing
