Our annual Art Enrichment Week is a highlight of the school year, bringing the whole community together through creative exploration.
Art Enrichment Week 2025 - Global Art & Cultural Expression
A whole-school exploration of art from Africa, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and the UK.
Highlights:
- EYFS explored Kusama and Georgia O’Keeffe
- KS1 created Ghanaian Kente cloth weaving & ink jellyfish
- LKS2 sculpted Kusama pumpkins, koru art & bark painting
- UKS2 explored Hepworth, Kusama and Banksy
Pupil Voice:
- “Our pumpkins were hard at first but we didn’t give up.” - Year 3
- “The bark art looked real when we crinkled it!” - Year 4
- “Banksy made us think - our messages meant something.” - Year 6
Art Enrichment Week 2024 - Clay, Colour & Hundertwasser
A joyful whole-school experience of clay, swirling colour and bold design.
Projects included:
- A huge collaborative clay & newspaper mural
- A Hundertwasser-inspired hall display
- Whole-school charcoal gallery

Art Enrichment Week 2023 - Line, Colour, Shape & Nature
Children explored renowned artists and techniques across all classes.
Highlights:
- EYFS: Kandinsky concentric circles
- KS1: Eric Carle textures & pattern
- LKS2: Observational insect drawings
- UKS2: Colour, tone & gouache techniques
