Aston Rowant has a longstanding partnership with Garsington Opera through their GO Participate programme.

What is GO Participate?

GO Participate brings professional opera artists into schools to:

• teach singing and musicianship
• develop stagecraft and performance skills
• build confidence in ensemble work
• give pupils experience of live, high-quality performance
• showcase children's achievements in professional settings

Every year, Years 5 & 6 work with Garsington through workshops, rehearsals and performances.

Garsington Opera Youth Company Auditions

Garsington runs auditions in our school for pupils in Years 4–6 who wish to join their Youth Company - providing talented and passionate singers with a pathway into advanced, professional-level training in the arts.

This is an exceptional opportunity rarely offered in primary schools.
