Understanding Our Pupils
We know our pupils well and carefully consider the barriers some children may face. These can include:
- Developing vocabulary and language skills to fully access the curriculum
- Gaps in prior knowledge and wider experiences
- Attendance and engagement challenges for a small number of pupils
- Building confidence, resilience and independence as learners
- Access to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom

- Emotional wellbeing and mental health needs (including bereavement and anxiety)
