Every Child Has the Right to Read 

Reading is a powerful tool for change, and we want our children to understand the difference it can make in people's lives. As part of our Courageous Advocacy work, children explore the importance of literacy and the belief that every child has the right to read. Through projects, discussions and community engagement, children learn how reading can open doors, create opportunities and empower individuals to shape their futures. 

This year, our Lower Key Stage 2 pupils are leading a reading-focused Courageous Advocacy project, helping to promote the importance of reading within our wider community and encouraging others to develop a love of books.
