Bringing Books to Life 

Reading is celebrated throughout the year through a variety of exciting events and experiences. Our Book Days are much more than dress-up events. Children spend the day off timetable, working in mixed-age houses and exploring unique themes through reading, creativity, discussion and collaboration. These immersive experiences allow children to engage deeply with books and develop a shared love of reading across the whole school.

4th September 2026 - Som Holliday writer and storyteller workshop

Som Holliday delivered an exceptional author visit that inspired our entire school community. Her engaging, energetic style and brilliant interactive storytelling captured the imagination of every child, encouraging creativity, confidence and a love of books. Children and adults alike were thoroughly engaged throughout, and the excitement she generated continued long after her visit. An unforgettable experience and one we highly recommend.
