Impact
Through our sequenced Kapow PSHE curriculum, pupils develop a secure, cumulative body of knowledge that they can apply confidently in real-life situations. They demonstrate:
- Clear recall of age-appropriate content, revisited and strengthened each year through the spiral model.
- Emotional literacy, able to name, understand and manage a wide range of feelings.
- Healthy personal relationships, characterised by respect, empathy and positive boundaries.
- Improved oracy and reasoning, as PSHE discussions encourage children to articulate viewpoints, challenge respectfully and listen actively.
- Excellent safeguarding awareness, evidenced through their ability to describe how to stay safe in different contexts.
- Growing independence, as they reflect on their own behaviour, choices and wellbeing.
- Deep connection to our Christian vision, showing Gratitude, Outreach, Harmony and Trust in interactions with others.
