l. School Council
Led by Mrs France (Headteacher)
Our School Council, led by Mrs France, is a key part of our commitment to pupil voice, democracy and leadership. Meeting half‑termly, the council provides pupils with the opportunity to represent their peers and actively contribute to decisions that shape school life.
School Council members:
- Gather ideas and feedback from their classes
- Discuss and prioritise issues important to pupils
- Work with staff to help bring ideas to life
- Learn about fairness, responsibility and respectful discussion
Through School Council, pupils develop:
- Confidence and communication skills
- An understanding of democracy and representation
- Respect for different viewpoints
- A sense of belonging and influence
The group ensures that children feel listened to and valued, reinforcing our culture of mutual respect and shared responsibility.
