a. Mapping Our Clubs to Personal Development

Our enrichment clubs are deliberately designed to support the Personal Development judgement by offering pupils rich opportunities to develop beyond the academic curriculum. Together, they ensure children are prepared for life in modern Britain, confident in themselves and respectful of others.

How our clubs support Personal Development:

  • Gardening, sports and dance clubs support physical health and calm focus

Independence and Confidence

  • Choice‑based participation encourages self‑awareness and decision‑making
  • Performance opportunities (choir, dance) build self‑belief and courage

Leadership and Responsibility

  • Art Ambassadors, Eco Warriors and School Council foster leadership and advocacy
  • Children take ownership of initiatives that impact school life

Moral, Social and Cultural Development

  • Choir, art and dance provide rich cultural experiences
