k. A Curriculum Rooted in Growth
Our GROWTH values - Gratitude, Resilience, Outreach, Wonder, Trust and Harmony - shape our expectations for all learners and underpin the culture of our school. These values inform how we design our curriculum, how we support pupils and how we measure success, ensuring that every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.
We recognise that “growth” looks different for every child. For some pupils, growth may be reflected in academic achievement; for others, it may be shown through increased confidence, independence, emotional regulation, resilience or engagement with learning. We celebrate and value personal progress as well as academic outcomes, recognising that both are essential to pupils’ long‑term success and wellbeing.
Through carefully planned learning opportunities and inclusive classroom practice, we encourage all pupils - including those with SEND - to take confident steps in their learning journey. Expectations remain high for every child, but support is thoughtful, flexible and responsive, ensuring that pupils are challenged appropriately while feeling safe and supported.
