- Worry box check-ins
- Peer support discussions
Impact
Children develop emotional regulation, resilience and empathy, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.
Impact includes:
- Expanded emotional vocabulary, helping pupils articulate feelings safely and accurately.
- Increased help-seeking behaviour, with pupils approaching trusted adults confidently.
- Greater peer support, including kindness initiatives and reflective discussions.
- Improved self-regulation, visible in transitions, learning behaviours and playground interactions.
- Normalisation of mental health conversations, reducing stigma and promoting self-care.
Most importantly, our pupils can explain how they look after their wellbeing and support others.
