Science Week 2025 — Change & Adapt
- Milk → plastic polymer, Van de Graaff, Chladni plates, evolution yoga, air-quality sensors, live lamb ultrasound.
- Pupil Voice: “The lamb ultrasound was AMAZING.” “The Chladni plates were awesome.”
Science Week 2026 — Curiosity: Exploring the Unknown
- Coding a Mars landing; rover Egg-Bot engineering; meteor impact testing; regolith/soil comparisons; Oxford fossils workshop; live Q&A with a scientist.
- Pupil Voice: “My code worked! I landed on Mars!” “The ammonite was older than I can imagine!”
These weeks enhance the taught curriculum (not replace it), strengthening Working Scientifically, teamwork and scientific identity across the school.
