4. Oversubscription Criteria

When more applications are received than places available, we follow the legally-required criteria in priority order:

Priority Order

1. Children with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) naming our school

2. Looked-after children (LAC) and Previously Looked-After Children (PLAC), including:

• Children adopted from care in England
• Children previously in state care outside England and adopted (“IAPLAC”)

3. Children living in the catchment area with a sibling already at the school

4. Children living in the catchment area

5. Children living outside catchment with a sibling at the school

6. All other applicants

Tie-Breaker (Distance)

If two children fall into the same category, places are allocated by straight-line distance from home to school as measured by Oxfordshire County Council.
