Our theme this term

A Sense of Belonging is our inspiring whole-school topic for Spring Term 2026; designed to help children reflect on where they belong, how they connect with others, and how the past and present shape who we are today.

Throughout the Spring term, pupils will explore what it means to belong to our school community, learning how shared values, routines and relationships help us feel safe, valued and included. Children will be encouraged to recognise their own place within the school and to understand how they can contribute positively to the community around them. Opportunities for discussion, creativity and reflection will encourage pupils to develop a deeper appreciation of themselves and others.

By the end of the term, children will have a stronger understanding of belonging -to their school, their local community and the wider world- and how these connections help shape who they are.
