Aston Rowant Church of England Primary School is thrilled to share the results of our recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report, which recognises the deep impact of our Christian vision and the flourishing of our whole school community.

“Collective worship is central to daily life… inclusive and invites each person to contribute with integrity.”

The Inspector commented that our collective Worship was ‘breath taking.’ From enthusiastic singing to heartfelt prayers, worship at Aston Rowant is a time of reflection, celebration, and spiritual growth. Our ‘I wonder’ wall with the children’s questions, exploration of Bible verses and pupil-led worship are just some of the ways we make faith meaningful and personal.

🌍 Making a Difference

“Pupils are passionate about change, leading projects that address environmental issues, poverty, and social justice.”

Our children are empowered to speak out and take action — whether presenting to MPs, setting up recycling stations, working with the local foodbank or championing causes the children believe in. Our children are learning to be courageous and take action and live with purpose and compassion.

Changing lives through music.

Rocksteady is on a mission to amplify children’s self-belief through inclusive, performance-based music lessons, removing barriers so that no child is left behind.

Rocksteady is powered by a passionate team of musicians and support staff, and in fact is now the largest employer of musicians on a full-time, permanent basis in the whole of the UK. Most importantly though, Rocksteady provides a positive first experience of learning music for hundreds of thousands of pupils, whilst improving their wellbeing and amplifying their self-belief.

On the walk you will be accompanied by our lead walkers, first aiders and marshals, as well as having a marked route. Once signed up, you will receive further details and the route map via email before event day. Finally, upon return to base you will be greeted with a delicious cream tea which is included in the price. Extra's will be on sale for supporters too.

This event isn't just for the parents of Aston Rowant CofE School, it is a whole community event. A chance to dust off those walking boots and put a date in the diary for a walk and talk with friends, whilst helping our school build a much needed library.
