Our theme this term

Signs and Symbols is our exciting new whole-school topic, designed to get our children thinking about the meaning and symbolism behind our topics..

 During this summer term, pupils will explore the theme of ‘Signs and Symbols’, discovering how they are used to communicate meaning across a variety of contexts. Through engaging activities across subjects, children will investigate symbolic language in stories, religious traditions, art, and everyday life. They will learn to identify and interpret signs, create their own meaningful symbols, and understand their importance in different cultures and communities. This topic will encourage thoughtful discussion, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for how non-verbal communication shapes our world.
